I first heard of ECHO through School, and I turned up on my own on the first day they opened at Ash Grove Surgery.
Months later, we as a family of four still use the facilities every week.
It is hard to put into words how much ECHO have changed our lives for the better. I went for advice on how to help my daughter, because of the advice I was given, and this information passed on to school we are now moving forward with the help we need for her.
Not only have we been given help for our daughter, we have had fantastic support for all of us, including Counselling, Alternative Therapies, and an amazing group CHOICE’S that both children attended over the summer holidays.
Everyone we have met are so friendly and easy to talk to.
We look forward to Thursdays to see our ECHO family, and feel they are there when needed even if its just to talk.
Our community have needed this for a long time, and this shows where a new group has been set up at the local doctors.
The school my children attend have been able to recommend ECHO as unfortunately waiting lists for CAMHS and other agencies is far to long.
I was so happy to hear about the Lottery Funding, our community can’t loose such an amazing group.
